The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Center is a group psychology practice founded in 2016 by Dr. Michelle Drapkin, a board-certified psychologist (ABPP, A-CBT). We offer expert, state-of-the-art, evidence-based treatment in a warm, friendly environment, both in person and via secure telehealth.
With more than 100 years of combined clinical and research experience, our team brings deep expertise in psychological health and wellbeing. We are trained in a wide range of evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), exposure-based treatments for anxiety and OCD, DBT skills, and motivational interviewing. Every treatment plan is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in science.
We work with individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, insomnia, trauma, and relationship issues. We are not one-size-fits-all. We have a whole toolbox of approaches and we meet you where you are, whatever that looks like. And if we are not the right fit, we will tell you that too. We have a network of equally wonderful colleagues and we will help you find the right person.
We are proud advocates for the LGBTQIA+ community and welcome individuals of all races, ethnicities, religions, and sexual orientations. Differences are respected and celebrated at the CBT Center.
Our headquarters is located in beautiful Highland Park, New Jersey. We provide in-person therapy at our Highland Park office, as well as secure telehealth services throughout New Jersey, New York, and 40+ states through PsyPact. For information about fees and insurance, please visit our FAQ.
For treatment inquiries, please complete our New Patient Interest Form. We are here and ready to help.
"We work together on what matters to you."
