Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) Center

Family Therapy & Parent Coaching

People don’t exist in a vacuum. Sometimes the most effective work happens when we zoom out — looking at the patterns, the communication, the dynamics that make things harder for everyone.

Our family therapy and parent coaching draws from the same evidence-based toolkit we use across all our work: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We help families communicate more clearly, understand each other more fully, and make changes that actually stick.

Available in person in central New Jersey and via telehealth.

Frequently Asked Questions

We start with a full picture — what’s happening, what each person needs, and what you’re hoping for. From there we build a treatment approach tailored to your situation, not a generic script. Sessions are structured and collaborative. We’re not just listening — we’re actively working with you.

Sometimes, yes — and we find it really valuable. Getting to know each person individually helps us understand the full picture: what each partner or family member is carrying, what they need, and how the dynamic between people is shaped by what’s happening inside each of them. This is systems work at its core. We’re not just looking at the conflict or the communication breakdown in isolation — we’re looking at the whole. How each person’s history, patterns, and needs interact with everyone else’s. That kind of depth is what makes the work stick.
